DUFFY, MARIE I. - The death of Marie I. Duffy of Marysview Seniors Facility, Hampton occurred January 5, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born at Nauwigewauk, daughter of the late John and Pearl (Fraser) Duffy. Marie was a lifelong resident of Nauwigewauk where she was engaged in farming. She was a member of Nauwigewauk Community Club. Marie enjoyed bowling in Hampton, puzzles, woodworking, reading and watching sports on television. She is survived by three sisters Ruth Moore (Bill) of Ottawa, Dorothy "Dix" Dee of Ottawa, Louise Burgoyne (Alfred) of Fredericton; three brothers Dave (Marianne) of Nauwigewauk, Donald (Mary Lou) of London, ON, Maclaren "Mac" (Carol) of Riverview; several nieces and nephews. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Saturday, 11:00am, at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Peter Gillies officiating. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Quispamsis. Memorials may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of the donor's choice. Visiting 2-4pm & 7-9pm Friday.
