Mrs. Anna Agnes Blish (née Haan) December 23, 1909 - January 05, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Nanaimo) Blish/Martin, Anna Agnes (nee Haan) born December 23, 1909. Passed away peacefully on January 5th, 2005 at the age of 95. She was born in the Queen Charlotte Islands and then settled in Nanaimo in 1939. Predeceased by her first husband Malcolm Martin and her second husband Everett Blish, also three brothers, Charlie, Jack and Peter and sister Beatrice and grandson, Mitchell Greenwell. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Jean,sister Bessie and sister Agnes also her son Norman Martin (Darlene) their children, Brent (Barbara), Bruce (Donna), Bradley (Julie), her daughter Jean (Les) Noon and her granddaughter Shannon (Mike) McGimpsey, grandson Norman (Tracy) Great grand children Erik, Finn, Lee, Cameron, Tyler, Lisa , Blake, Airdre, Sarah and Marina. She had many friends and cousins who she always kept in touch with. She was a very active member of the Eastern Star number 43, Nanaimo and also for many years worked in the Cancer Dressing station.The family would like to thank Dr. Ehman , the staff at the Nanaimo Hospital and the loving care she received at the Malaspina Gardens. She will be dearly missed. No service at Anna's request. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Cancer Station, c/o of O.E.S.
