MIZENER, Janet Bertha (Blackwood). Peacefully passed away at her home, surrounded by her loved ones, on January 6, 2005, at the age of seventy-four years. Predeceased by her parents James and Bertha (Tibbits) Blackwood and her older brothers, Russell, Marcus, Homer and William. Janet is survived by her devoted and loving husband of fifty-three years, Keith and their four daughters, Leslie (Brian Forbes), Laura (Paul Enright), Shelley, and Sarah (Bruce McMahon). She will be dearly missed by grandchildren Jessica, Allison, Gregory Forbes; Rebecca, Kayla, James and Veronica Enright; Cody McMahon; Harley Mines; and honorary grandchildren Alex and Jamie Mines. She will also be sadly missed by sisters-in-law, Ella, Evelyn and Elizabeth Blackwood, many nieces, nephews, cousins and other loved ones. Special thanks to Dr. W. Barakett, staffs at the B.M.P. Hospital and the C.L.S.C., Reverend Tim Wiebe and the many others who cared for Janet during her illness and offered their care, devotion and kindness. Visitation at Desourdy Wilson, Knowlton on Sunday, January 9 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, January 10 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral service at St. Paul's Anglican Church Knowlton at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to any of the following charities or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. St. Paul's Anglican Church, B.M.P. Hospital, Knowlton Cemetery Company, Brome County Historical Society or the Canadian Cancer Society. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 1/7/2005.
