LARIVIERE, Louis Eddie 75 years. Passed away Sunday, January 2, 2005, at WRHC Metropolitan Campus. Beloved husband of 52 years to Genevieve (Laforest). Loving father of Tim and Shirley, Denise Robert and Wayne, Dwain and Nancy, Laurie Chevalier and Mark. Cherished grandpa (papa) of Buddy, Jenny, Kyle, Jeremy, Natalie, Mandy, Amy, and Alex. Great grand-papa of Tyler and Jaidyn. Predeceased by his parents Pete and Laura (Lefaive), and brothers John, Gerard, and sister Mary-Jane, and special friend Mervin Bensette (2004). Our sincerest thanks to the doctors and staff of the 6th and 8th floor at Metropolitan Hospital. Visiting Tuesday, January 4, 2005, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame St., Belle River, 728-1500. Parish prayers Tuesday at 8 p.m. Cremation to follow at Greenlawn Crematorium with burial of Louis' ashes at a later date at St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A tree will be planted in memory of Louis Lariviere in the Melady Heritage Forest.
