Vito ROPPOLO

ROPPOLO, Vito - Died peacefully surrounded by his family at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 in his 79th year. Survived by his loving wife of 53 years Margherita, sons Ignazio (Valerie), Paolo (Debra), daughter Josie Lemaire (Duane). Vito's pride and joy were his five grandchildren Jessica, Marley, Erica, Daniel and Nicholas. Dear brother of Angelina and Vitina, both of Venezuela; Filippo and Vincenza, both of Italy; pre-deceased by Matteo and Giuseppina. Special brother-in-law of Ross and Lina DiMaria and Francesca DiMaria. He also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews. Thank you to all of the nursing staff in the ICU and on 3-West at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, and to the many doctors who cared for Vito. A special thank you to the VONs, and to Remi Brzozowski for everything. Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday (Parish Prayers 3:30 p.m. Friday). Funeral Mass at St. Alphonsus Church on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 11 a.m. Reverend Paul Massel officiating. Entombment Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
