GALLANT, JAMES B. The death of James B. Gallant, of Oromocto, NB, occurred on January 8th, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. Born on July 20th, 1924, he was the son of the late Catherine and Benjamin Gallant, and husband to the late Lou (Stewart) Gallant. He is survived by one son, Gary (Susan) of Oromocto, NB; one daughter, Sherry Bronson of Ontario; two sisters, Alice Perry (Frank) of Souris, PEI and Phoebe Gallant of Summerside, PEI; two grand daughters, Angela Gallant and Cynthia Gallant (George McKillop); six great grandchildren, Britiany, Jacob, Dylan, Daniel, Christopher and Lindsay; several nieces and nephews. James was predeceased by his parents; his first wife, Theresa (Gillis) Gallant; his second wife, Lou (Stewart) Gallant; one brother, Joey; two sisters, Mamie and Sarah. Visitation will be at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago Street Oromocto, NB on Tuesday, January 11th, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 12th, 2005 at 11:00 AM from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Father Ralph McRae as celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Vincent de Paul cemetery at a later date.
