Clyde MCASKILL

McASKILL, CLYDE - The death of Clyde McAskill of Riley Brook occurred on January 8, 2005 at his residence at the age of 90. Born in Riley Brook he was the son of the late Andrew and Elizabeth McAskill. He is survived by four daughters, Shirley McAskill of Cypress, Texas; Connie Hatt of Ottawa, Ont.; Sheryl (Ivan) McAskill of Riley Brook and Carole (Dale) Linton of Grassie, Ont.; three sons, Howard McAskill of London, Ont,; Stuart (Holly) McAskill of Ancaster, Ont,; and Wendell (Jean) McAskill of Pierce, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; one sister, Myrtle LeBel of Plaster Rock and one brother Philip (Georgie) McAskill of Plaster Rock. Predeceased by his wife Wilda McAskill, parents, one child, two grandchildren, three sisters and three brothers. Resting at Riley Brook United Church with visiting hours on Tuesday, January 11th from 7-9 PM. A Legion Service will be held at 7:30 PM. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 12th at 2 PM from the church with Rev. Ellen Flemming officiating. Interment in the Riley Brook Cemetery.
