DALBEC, Yvette – At the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell site, on Saturday, January 8, 2005. Marie Yvette Fraser (Co-Founder of Dalbec Sporting Goods) of 801 Fourth Street East; age 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerard (Jock) Dalbec. Loving mother of Nicole (Mrs. Paolo Danesin) of Venice Italy, Mariette (Mrs. Marcel Clement) of Orleans, Ontario and Gisele (Mrs. Michel Szczesniak) of Kingston, Ontario. Predeceased by parents Joseph Fraser and Berenice Sirois. Adoring grandmother of Christiano, Chantal, Stephen, Lianne, Joel, Celine, Lev, Antoine, Gabriel and Sophie. She will be sadly missed by brother Jean-Marie Fraser (Georgette) of Cornwall and sister Yvonne Caron (Jacques) of Montreal. She touched many lives and will be fondly remembered by relatives and friends. Over the years, Yvette Volunteered countless hours to several community clubs and organizations. Resting at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East, (933-2841) from 2 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Wednesday January 12, 2005 for Mass of Christian Burial in Nativity Co-Cathedral at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral on Wednesday. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
