Mr. Wilfred Montague Standring January 02, 1919 - January 11, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Salon Funéraire Rideau / Rideau Funeral Home Passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 aged 86 years, beloved husband of Grace (Meg) Standring for the past 62 years. Dearly loved father of Ron (Nancy), Trevor and Lynn (Ken). Proud poppa of Jason, Kristy (Matt), Jarrod, Kelly and Timothy. Brother of Evelyn, Sid (Kay), Narine (Jim) and brother-in-law of Irene. Remembered by many dear relatives and friends. Predeceased by two brothers, Frank (Peggy) and Roy. Wilfred was a life member of the Legion Branch # 14, Royal Montreal Regiment and a member of the First Canadian Contingent to go Overseas in 1939. Visitation will take place from Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd. D.D.O., QC (514) 685-3344 on Thursday, January, 13, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral will also be held at Rideau Chapel on Friday, January 14, 2005 at 10:30 a.m.
