GREEN, BERTHA VIOLA "VI" On Thursday January 13, 2005 Bertha Viola "Vi" Green of Fredericton passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital at the age of 90. Born in North Tay, NB, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Bertha (Armstrong) Hawkes and wife of the late Eugene Green. She was a homemaker and member of the Holy Family Parish Church. She is survived by two children Myrna O'Hara and her husband Fred of Royal Road, Frank Green (Peggy Bennett) of Fredericton; one sister Reta Hovey of Fredericton; four grand children Janice Smith (Ronald), Robert Green, Greg Green (Wendy) and Kathy Green (Jamie Till); four great grand children Jennifer and Kristen Smith, Tyler Green and Mychelle Green; daughter-in-law Doris Green of Fredericton; two sisters-in-law Vivian Flowers of Toronto and Lena Hayes of Tay Creek; numerous nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by a son Roy; a daughter Rose Mary; four brothers Garnet, Gerald, Patrick and Fred; five sisters Beatrice (Sister Coltide), Alma, Ethel, Olga and Florence. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton with visitation on Sunday January 16, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will he held from the Holy Family Parish Church on Monday at 11:00 am with Father J.J. Dolan officiating. Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Tay Creek at a later date. No flowers by request, memorials may be made to the Helping Hands, Estey's Bridge, NB, Holy Family Parish Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
