HENNESSY, JOSEPHINE THERESA The death of Josephine Theresa Hennessy of Fredericton occurred on Saturday January 15, 2005 at the York Manor Nursing Home. Born in Blissfield, NB she was the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Bowes) Hennessy. Josephine was a switchboard operator for thirty years in Montreal before returning to Fredericton where she was employed with Sears for several years. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Fredericton and also was an avid bingo player. She is survived by two brothers Allison Hennessy (Irma) of Fredericton, NB and Frank Hennessy (Heloise) of Trenton, ON; two sisters Mary Bergin of Upper Blackville, NB and Blanche Underhill of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by four brothers James, Adrian, John and Harold Hennessy; one sister Minnie Porter. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home 302 Brookside Drive Fredericton North on Monday January 17, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 from Our Lady of the Annunciation in Doaktown, NB with Father Mark Trzop as celebrant. Interment will take place in the Holy Name of Mary Cemetery Blissfield, NB at a later date. Pallbearers for the service will be Doug Porter, Steve Adams, Bob Bergin, Benny Underhill, Patty Hennessy and Mike Hennessy.
