Robert H.e. AUSTIN

AUSTIN, ROBERT H.E. (TED) - Robert H.E. Austin (Ted), of 2193 Ocean Westway, 88 years, born in Saint John January 7, 1917, passed away at home on January 16, 2005. Married for 65 years to Margaret V. (Preston) Austin. He leaves three sons Gary Robert Austin, Donald Edward Austin (Sharon) and Ronald Cecil Austin, all of Saint John; one foster daughter Mary Kill of Vancouver; one cousin Jean Flewelling of Saint John; 10 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; predeceased by one grandson Vance Austin. He was the son of the late Edward H. Austin and Isobel Plant (Flewelling) Austin. He was a ardent fisherman and hunter all his life and a member of the 174 CRA, owner and proprietor of Austin's Motorcycle Service for over 45 years. He was a volunteer firefighter for Saint John and Spruce Lake. Ted was a direct descendent of the Empire Loyalists. By request there will be no visitation. Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Wednesday January 19, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
