CHARTERS, DAYLE ASHTON On Monday January 17, 2005, Dayle Ashton Charters of New Maryland passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness with cancer, at the age of 67. He was a son of Nellie (Daniel) Charters and the late James Charters. He was employed for over 30 years in construction in Edmonton, Alberta. Dayle was an avid ourdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife Shirley; two sons Danny of New Maryland and Dayle-Ray (Tina) of Edmonton, Alberta; one daughter Conny Bouchard (Andy) of Cold Lake, Alberta; a step-son Robert Charters; two brothers Vaughan of New Maryland, Cecil (Carol) of Nasonworth; one sister Audrey Walker (Laurie) of Grand Prairie, Alberta; several nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by a sister Aldene Schriver; a brother Glen; step-daughter Cathy Burrell. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 2:00 pm from the New Maryland United Church. Interment will be held at a later date. Pallbearers will be Danny Charters, Dayle-Ray Charters, Doug Charters, Doug Humble, Lloyd Sinclair and Jonathan Charters.
