Clarence J. Surette 1917 - 2005 Clarence J. Surette, of Normandie Street in Dieppe, passed away at his residence on Monday, January 17, 2005 at the age of 87. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Christin and Margaret (Melanson) Surrette. He was a veteran of WW II who served overseas with the R.C.A.F. he was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6. Retired from the motion picture industry after 50 years of service, spending most of it working for the Paramount Theatre in Moncton. He was a member of The Moncton Men's Press Club. He is survived by a daughter, Pauline LeBlanc (Blair) of Moncton; sons, John Surette (Janet) of Bathurst, Reginald of Moncton and Robert of Montreal; sister, Rita Melanson of Shediac; grandchildren, Brenda Surette (Mathieu) of Dieppe and Danny Surette (Karen) of Bathurst; great grand- children, Brody and Ashley. Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel, 171 Lutz St., Moncton on Friday, January 21, 2005 at 11:00 with Fr. Bernard Sloan officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will be in St. Jacques Catholic Cemetery, Scoudouc, in the spring. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
