ROBERTS, BRYAN ANTHONY "Pale death, the grand physician, cures all pain" After a long and valiant struggle, Bryan left us on January 18th, 2005. Born in England on April 1st, 1927, he was the elder son of Harold and Dora Roberts of Stafford. Bryan was a loving husband, father, stepfather and grandfather; a trusted friend; a skilled and sensitive teacher; a respected administrator; and a lifelong cultivator of gardens. A kind and gentle man, he will be sorely missed by his devoted wife and companion of twenty - five years, Grace Abrams. He also leaves to mourn son Mark Roberts of Darling's Island and Saint John, NB; daughter Anita Jenner and grandchildren Mark, Melissa and Robyn Jenner of Saint John, NB; stepson Laurence Sparks of Fredericton, NB and stepdaughter Julie Sparks of Toronto, ON. Bryan will be remembered by dear family and friends in England and by friends and former colleagues in Fredericton, Saint John, throughout the Maritimes and across Canada. The family appreciates the excellent care given to Bryan in hospital and the commitment and concern of Dr. Nie, Dr. Aslam, the resident surgeons and the nursing staff and therapists in ICU and 4SW at the Chalmers. There will be no visitation or service by request. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the NB Lung Association.
