RUTH The death of Mary Ruth von Richter formerly of Duke Street, Saint John West, wife of the late Boris von Richter, occurred on Tuesday, January 18, 2005, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Jacksonville, NB, she was the daughter of the late R. Ambrose and Stella (Graham) Burpee. Ruth was a member of St. George's Anglican Church and the Jewel Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by three sisters, Barbara Clark (Cecil) of Burford, ON, Marjorie Hickey (Chester) of Harvey and Joyce Mason (Arlo) of Woodstock, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Guilford Burpee (infant), Herbert Burpee and Lloyd Burpee and one sister, Rosalie Shaw. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425), with visiting on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Bay View Chapel on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place in St. George's Anglican Cemetery at a later date.
