Ronald Winfield Neals REID

REID, RONALD W. N. Ronald Winfield Neals Reid, of Burton, NB, passed away January 18th, 2005. Ron was born in Gagetown, NB and was the son of the late Ottie and Nellie (McKinney) Reid. Ron is survived by his wife, Reta; three sons, Gary (Elsbeth), Garth, and Jason (Lenora); four daughters, Rhonda, Drena (Gordon), Dacia (Andrew), and Marsha (Kelly). Ron was grand father to Carla, Shea, Eric, Jordan, Jennifer, Jayme, Geoffrey, Janelle, Laura, Courtney, Elliot, and Emily; Ron's sister, Norma (Dr. William Jones) of Halifax, NS and their children, Sarah, Jennifer, and Martha and Mary Ellen. He was predeceased by one brother, Billy. Ron loved working with wood, many households contain pieces of his furniture, rocking horses, toys and renovating ideas. A familiar sight through out the Jemseg and Gagetown area, was Ron in his candy apple red truck accompanied by his two dogs taking his weekly inspections of New Brunswick highways. There will be no visitation by request. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 21st, 2005 at 1:00 pm from St. John's Anglican Church in Gagetown, NB. Rev. Gerald Laskey will officiate. Reception will follow at the Parish Hall. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Oromocto Extra Mural or the Lung Association.
