Jennie Miranda Slaunwhite November 13, 1918 - January 18, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) SLAUNWHITE, Jennie Miranda - 86, Terence Bay, passed away at her home in Melville Lodge on January 18, 2005. Born in Terence Bay, she was the daughter of the late John Edward and Laura Slaunwhite. She is survived by daughter, Melissa (Melvin), Terence Bay; son, William T., Spryfield; sister, Beatty (Roy); brothers, Murdock, Elsworth (Linda), Richie (Patsy) and Donny; grandchildren, Heather (Darren), Scott (Tracy), Curtis (Sandra), Tyler (Bev), Blair (Wendy), Tina, Darlene, Kathy, Judy, Kenny, John, Barbie, Mathew; many great-grandchildren, several great great-grandchildren, all of Terence Bay. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Roy; sons, Roy and Ronald Arthur Slaunwhite; grandsons, Darren Ronald and Lewis Slaunwhite; brothers, Edward and Byron Slaunwhite. Special thanks to all of the nurses and staff at Melville Lodge, and the doctors and nurses at the QEII Emergency Department. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul's Anglican Church, Terence Bay, Rev. Lisa Vaughn officiating. No flowers by request. Donations may be made the family.
