Thelma Delphine SHEPHERD

Mrs. Thelma Delphine Marsden (née Shepherd) August 25, 1934 - January 16, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Duncan) MARSDEN, Thelma Delphine, died suddenly on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005. Thelma will always e remembered by her loving family: son Allan of Chemainus, wife Holly and grandchildren Tom, Troy and Aaron; son Peter of Calgary, wife Terry and grandchildren Steven and Jeffrey; son David of Calgary and wife Helen and grandchildren Melbourne and Morganne; sister Gloria Hughes of Durham, England. Thelma will also be missed by her friend, Lloyd Brown of Chemainus. Thelma was predeceased by her husband, Allan, on June 17, 1995. Together, they came from England to the Cowichan Valley in 1957, where Allan was employed for decades at B.C. Cement Company at Bamberton. Thelma was involved in the Eastern Star, the Cowichan District Hospital Auxiliary - and just as importantly, in the lives of her family. She took great interest in the success of her family and supported them through life’s many challenges. She’ll be missed immeasurably. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 5800 Church Road, Duncan, BC on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 11:00 am. The family wish to thank Dr. Gee of Chemainus, who provided quality care to Thelma in recent years.
