Rita LAPOINTE

GOODINE, RITA - Rita Goodine of Plaster Rock passed away at the Edmundston Regional Hospital on January 21, 2005. Born on May 9, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Cecile (Dube) Lapointe. She is survived by her children Deborah Rita (Lee) Harding of Fredericton, Wendy (Rick) Reid of Plaster Rock, Pamela (Lindsay) Arseneau of Plaster Rock, Robert N. Goodine of Montreal, Kenneth (Elaine) Goodine of Bathurst; sisters Rachael (Phil) Gray of Ontario, Evelyn (David) Albert of Ontario, Laurette Reynolds of Miramichi; brother Albert (Germaine) Cormier of Sussex; sisters-in-law Jean Cormier of Ontario and Viola Cormier of Bathurst; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Gail Elizabeth Goodine, brothers Ralph and Gilles Cormier. Funeral service will be held on Monday January 24, 2005 at 11 am from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Plaster Rock. Father Pierre Thibodeau officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held a the church on Monday 10-11 am. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, NB Lung Association, NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the NB Arthritis Society. Arrangements by Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
