BLAD, Douglas Peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, January 15, 2005, Doug Blad in his 66th year of Kemptville. Beloved husband of Mary Lou Wood. Loving Dad of Linda Typhair (David), Patricia Blue (Bruce), Dawn Valcour and D.J. (Carlye) Blad. Cherished Grandpa of David Jr., Beth, Amanda, Riley, Kyra, Teagan, Caleb, Alia and great-grandchildren Nicholas and Subira. Dear brother of Dorothy Steed, Marlene Ashworth, Jim (Pat), Lorey (Liz), Shari Mumford, Bonnie White (Don), Mark (Lorraine) and predeceased by Charles and his parents Clarence and Dorothy Blad. A visitation will be held at the Byers Funeral Home, Church Street, South Mountain (989-3836) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, January 17, 2005 at 11 a.m. Cremation. By family request, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
