COVIT, Leon (Cooney). On Saturday, January 8, 2005. Beloved husband and best friend of Ruth for the past sixty-four and a half years. Cherished and loving father and father-in-law of the late Clyde Covit (Sharon), Sharon Bero (Shelly), and Tema Bross (Ness Mayer). Most loved Yeh-Yeh of Brandee Friedmann (Steven), Hayley Levy (Paul), Barrie Covit (Gwen), Charlene Tate (Ken), Corey Bero (Angela), Ashleigh Bross (Timmy Angelov), Larah Bross and Mickey Mayer. Great-grandfather of Jordan, Isabel, Matthew, Alison, Charlie. Son of the late Bennie and the late Annie Iscovitch. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Irene Fay, the late Peter Covit (Tillie), Moe Edwards (Patsy) of California, the late Bella Klar (the late Syd). Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a friend to all. Special thanks to Dr. Morais, Dr. Huang and the staff of 8 Medical at RVH. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Tuesday, January 11 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Habonim Hahofshi Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at his residence.
