Glenna DILLON

PIETRYGA, Glenna (Joan), RNBSN Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Pietryga went to be with our Lord on Friday evening, January 7, 2005. Age 73 years. Joan was born September 20, 1931 in Renfrew, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of the late Patrick and Josey (Lyons) Dillon. She was a retired registered nurse and was a member of The Church of St. Boniface and the Michigan Nurses' Assn. She was married to Edmund Ralph Pietryga in Detroit, Michigan on October 24, 1953, he survives her. She also leaves her children, Cathy Williams and Patrick (Joyce) Pietryga both of Bay City and Tina Turner of Lupton, Michigan. Seven grandchildren, Libby (Rick) Sirianni, Nick (Karin) Williams, Jenny Williams and Nate Williams all of Bay City, Amber and Alanah Pietryga and Zachary Running all of Lupton, Michigan. Six great-grandchildren. Also two sisters and two brothers, Lois Langevin, Ethel (Ernie) Kean, Kevin (Betty) Dillon and Lionel Dillon all of Canada. Many nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by two brothers, John and Basil Dillon and a sister, Kathleen McGee. We would like to give thanks to Dr. Szyperski and Staff; The Division On Aging; Hospice and Bay Medical Care Facility. In honoring Joan's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at The Church Of St. Boniface by Rev. Fr. Dale A. Orlik. Friends may call at the Ambrose Funeral Home, 1200 Garfield Ave., Bay City, Michigan on Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass.
