Sidney John FOX

FOX, Sidney John. At St. Jospeh's health Centre, Guelph, with his family by his side on Monday, January 17, 2005. Sidney John Fox age eighty-five years was the beloved husband of Maude (Britt) Fox of Guelph and the late Elizabeth (Betty) (Magee) Fox (1994). He was the loving father of Patricia and her husband Jim Myall of Kincardine. John and his wife Cathy of Port Coquitlam, B.C. and Jim of Guelph. Sidney will be very fondly remembered by Joan Fox of Guelph. He will be missed by Maude's children, Ray and Joyce Armitage of St. Catherines and Wendy and Ed Oliver of Knoxville, TN and their families. Sidney was the proud grandfather of Elizabeth, Patrick, Peter, Andrew, Colin, Shannon, Bryanna, Taylor and Liam, and great-grandfather of Nathan and Cora. He was pre-deceased by his two brothers, Harry and Harold late of Montreal. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at 11 a.m. Cremation with interment of cremated remains at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stoke FOundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
