Oswald B. JONES

JONES, Oswald (Ossie) B. 1922-2005. Ossie passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 12, 2005 at Chateauguay, Quebec. Ossie was predeceased by his loving wife Ila-Mae in 2000. He is fondly remembered by his children David, Lorraine and Ronald (Denise) and his grandchildren Kathleen and Taylor. He was proud of his family and their accomplishments and enjoyed many pursuits. His memories of his service in the Navy during the second world war were close to his heart. He often recounted stories of the friendships he made during that era. Ossie enjoyed meeting his many colleagues from his career in the steel industry, where he worked for over forty years. Resting at: 123 Maple Street, Chateauguay Visitation Saturday, January 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, January 17, 2005 at 1 p.m. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to be sent to the charity of your choice.
