McCONNELL, Charles "Hume" Peacefully at the Bayfield Manor Nursing Home, Kemptville on Thursday, January 13, 2005 Charles "Hume" McConnell of Kemptville, formerly of Morewood in his 98th year. Beloved husband and very best friend of Jean (nee Rorison) of Kemptville having just celebrated 71 years of marriage on December 23rd. Loving father of Marion (Joe) Goncalves of Morewood. Cherished grandfather of Patricia (Tim) Bilmer of Morrisburg, Tom (Shannon) Goncalves of Cornwall and Heather (Shane Mark) Goncalves of Morewood. Dear great-grandfather of Victor and Vincent Bilmer of Morrisburg and Brooke Goncalves of Cornwall. Also survived by his brother-in-law Tom McCord and niece Diane Monteith, both of Hamilton. Predeceased by one son Blair McConnell. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at the Bayfield Manor Nursing Home, 100 Elvira Street, Kemptville on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Revs. Mary Lou Shorthill and Bert de Bruijn officiating.
