WOOD, Doris Formerly of Pakenham Peacefully at West End Villa, Ottawa, Ontario on Monday, January 10th, 2005 at age 94. Doris McFarlane, beloved wife of the late William Y. (Bill) Wood. Dear mother of Doug (Noreen) of Pakenham, Jo Ann (Don) Paul of Calgary and Wendy Wood (the late Henk Hymans) of Ottawa and step-mother to Cathy (Bob) Lyon of Kanata. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kristy Giles, Kathy Wood, Jennifer Paul, Tim Paul and Susan Boggs and 5 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 brothers Willie and Kelly McFarlane and by 2 sisters Pearl McFarlane and Helen Sutherland and step-daughter Marilyn Wood. The family will receive visitors at the Kerry Funeral Home, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte on Sunday, January 16th, from 2 to 5 p.m. A private family graveside service will take place in Pakenham Union Cemetery in the Spring.
