Bert MEUNIER

MEUNIER, Bert November 10, 1948 - January 9, 2005 (CAO of the City of Kingston) With his family at his side, Bert passed away peacefully at his beloved farm in Elgin, Ontario. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Frankie and his cherished son Jamie (Jessica Riley). Dear brother of twin, Denis (Dolo) of Mont St. Hilaire, QC, Ginette (Roch Forand) of Granby, QC and Daniel (Lisa) of Granby, QC. Much loved brother-in-law of Annie LeMonde of Newton, MA and Chel LeMonde and David McIntyre of Framingham, MA. Sadly missed by nieces, Veronique and Jenna and nephews Alexandre, Nicolas, Jeremy, Stephane, Michel and Jonathon. The family would like to thank their many friends and his numerous colleagues for their incredible support through their actions and letters. Also, many thanks to the doctors and nurses on Kidd 6 and Connell 9 at Kingston General Hospital. A special thanks to Dr. Greg Scott and nurse Patty Meadows. His quiet wisdom and patient understanding touched the lives of many people. A celebration of his life will be held at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Saturday January 15, 2005 from 12 noon until 5. All are welcome. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations directed towards cancer research to the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre, 25 King Street West, Kingston, Ontario K7L 5P9 would be greatly appreciated by the family.
