RATTE, Armand Charles Joseph (Major, Retired from The Canadian Armed Forces) On Tuesday, January 11, 2005, passed away peacefully in his home, at the age of 73. Beloved husband to Pauline (nee Caron) for 55 years. Predeceased by his daughter Dianne (Juan). Beloved father of Jim (Kathy), Carolle (Robert), Richard (Zsuzanna), Susan, Michelle (Gerry), Lise (Ernie), Denise (Alan), Nicolle (Alex) and Mylene (Charles). Cherished grandfather to 17 grandchildren. He will also be missed by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway, on Friday, January 14, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Notre-Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church (Cyrville), 1187 Michael Street, Ottawa, on Saturday, January 15 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
