BURNS, Kathy Department of Veterans Affairs Peacefully in hospital, Saturday, January 15, 2005. Kathryn Ryan age 47. Beloved wife of Steve Burns for 18 years. Loving mother of Lindsay and Brianna and step-mother of Steve Jr. and Derek. Dearly loved daughter of Pat Ryan and Eleanor (Lowe) Ryan and daughter-in-law of Rhea (Dinelle) Burns and the late William Burns. Dear sister of Ken Ryan (Alexa) and Gail Ryan and sister-in-law of Lynda Boisvert, Ann MacDonald and Helen Burns (Ray). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and colleagues. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 1255 Walkley Road (east of Bank) Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Service in Memory of Kathy will take place Friday in the Chapel at 11 a.m. In memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre Foundation appreciated.
