SILVERSON, George. It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of George on Sunday January 9, 2005 after a valiant struggle at the Ottawa General Hospital. Son of the late Lemuel Silverson and the late Reta (Clarke) of Lachute, Que. Husband of Barbara (Renwick), father of Shelley (Ron) and Kim (Nader), grandfather of Christopher, Cody, Tyler, Kayla, Rachel and Alanda. Also survived by his sisters Lois Pineault and Barbara Silverson. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Hawkesbury General and Ottawa General Hospitals for such professionalism tempered with compassion. Funeral service Thursday January 13, 2005 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the J.P. MacKimmie Funeral Home, 660 Main St. Lachute, Que. Visitation Wednesday January 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Quebec Lung Association, 800 de Maisonneuve Blvd E., Bureau 800, Montreal, Que.
