Marcia SOLOMON

PALMER (Palef), Marcia Peacefully on Monday January 10, 2004. Born in Dauphin, Manitoba, on November 27th, 1922. Daughter of the late Samuel and Molly Solomon, sister of the late Ernest and Allan Solomon, mother of Lyon Palmer (daughter-in-law Janet), and beloved grandmother of Kathryn Palmer, all of Orleans. She was predeceased by Harold Palef and William Palmer, both of Ottawa. She will be missed by many family members and friends in Ottawa, Toronto, Belleville, Winnipeg, Fort Worth, Texas, and West Nyack, New York. Former long time employee of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as well as the United Appeal of Ottawa Carleton, Carleton University, and the Royal Canadian Navy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ottawa Carleton or the United Appeal of Ottawa. Many thanks to the staff of Hillel Lodge, Ottawa. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the Jewish Cemetery in Osgoode. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of First Memorial Funeral Services 860-2424.
