CAMPBELL, Peter Rodolphe Lt. Col. (rtd.) Canloan 563 At his Toronto residence, on Thursday, January 13, 2005, in his 83rd year. Ever the officer and gentleman, Peter served in the Royal Canadian Ordinance Cops, from 1941-1974 and received the Italy Star, Defence Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, War Medal 1939-45, International Commission for Supervision and Control Service Medal, The Canadian Forces' Decoration and Clasps. The beloved son of the late Colonel Harold and Alden Campbell and brother of the late David Campbell Lt. Col. (rtd.) Lovingly remembered by Betty, his wife of fifty-five years, his son Ian, daughters Alden and Alix and her husband Jack Perone. Proud and devoted Grandad of Maxwell Perone. Sadly missed hy his in-laws, Kathryn Campbell and Nan and Tom Hullin (Ottawa) and cousin Elizabeth Cox (Toronto). In keeping with Peter's request, there was no funeral home visitation or service. Family and friends gathered to share with us a celebration of Peter's life at the residence of his daughter Alix and son-in-law Jack on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at 4 p.m. A contribution may be made to a charity of your choice in his memory.
