BARTER, Janet (nee Leggett). Formerly of Caledon East and Burlington, Ontario, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Ernest J. Barter, dear mother of Shelagh and Patricia Lavoie (Michel), cherished grandmother of Danielle (Matthew) and Melanie (Olivier) and great-grandmother of Louka. Fond memories of her musical talent, her gentle and generous soul and her positive approach to life are a consolation to all who knew and loved her. The family extends its heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of St. Mary's Hospital Palliative Care unit for their care and compassion. A private ceremony will be held.
