LARKIN, Thomas Michael. (WWII Veteran, CSM Thomas Larkin, D-Company, First Battalion, Black Watch Regiment, (RHR) of Canada), of Aurora, formerly of Burlington and Montreal, peacefully, in Newmarket, in his eighty-sixth year at Southlake Regional Health Centre on January 21, 2005. Born in Montreal, January 11, 1920, son of Michael Henry (Harry) Larkin and Mary Bridget Colford. Predeceased by his loving wife Ruth. Dear father to Judith Anne (Judy) and friend Brenda Sutherland, Michael Thomas and wife Katherine. Cherished grandfather to Heather, David and Greg Galoska, Kate, Tom and Beth Larkin. Long time employee of Domtar Packaging Limited and Atlantic Packaging Limited. Past president of the Royal Canadian Legion, Roxboro Quebec, Branch 234. Special thanks to the residents and staff at Park Place Manor Retirement residence in Aurora for their kindness over the past two years. Warm appreciation from the family to the nursing staff at Southlake Regional Health Centre, for their comfort and support. A celebration of his life will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church (D'Arcy and Church Street) Newmarket on Thursday February 3, 2005 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the charity of your choice.
