ARMITAGE, Robin Godfrey Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, on Monday, January 24, 2005, in his 84th year, Robin Godfrey Armitage, son of the late Godfrey and Joan Armitage. Predeceased by his beloved wife Luella Stanton, and brothers Mickey and Frank. Robin was a kind and loving brother to Bill (Shirley), Dr. Roly (Karen), Peggy (late George) Scott, June (Brian) Pye, Kingsley (Heather), sisters-in-law Kay Armitage and Dorothy Boone. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and his many friends throughout the countryside. A special thank you to niece Sheila Armitage for always being there for Robin, and a thank you as well to the West End Villa for their kind care. Friends may call at the Valley Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 115 Rivington Street, Carp, on Thursday, January 27th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday the 28th from 10 to 12 Noon. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. at St. Mary's Anglican Church on 6th Line, Dunrobin. Interment will take place in the Spring at St. John's Anglican Church, South March. In memory of Robin, donations to the Parkinson Society Ottawa, would be greatly appreciated by the family. Carleton Lodge AF & AM #465 will hold a Masonic Service at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, at the funeral home. Sister Lodges are welcome. Brethren please assemble at 6 p.m. in regalia.
