HOWE, Maj. J.P. (Beau) (Retired Canadian Forces) Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at the age of 75 years. J.P. (Beau) Howe, beloved husband of Brenda Howe (nee Coulas) and by first marriage, the late Helen Howe (nee Farrell). Dear father of Catherine Richards (Stephen), Denver, Colorado, Mary Theresa Howe, Ottawa, David Howe, Dartmouth, NS, and Moira Carriere (Robert), Ottawa. Predeceased by his son Thomas Howe. Father-in-law of Susan Howe. Loved step-father of Blake LeFort (Mary Jane), Connie Doyle (Art) and Susan LeFort, all of Ottawa. Loving Poppa to Sarah, Stephanie, Amber, Amy, Luke, Helen, Hilary, Victoria, Reily, Tully, Mary Bailey and Benjamin. Brother of David Howe (Beryl), Burlington, Gerry Howe (Olive), Pembroke and Catherine Walsh (late Peter), Islington. Son-in-law of Irene Coulas. Predeceased by his parents John Parnell and Lillian (nee Bourke) Howe and his brothers William and Myles Howe. Relatives and friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Thursday 2 to 4:30 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. and on Friday after 8:45 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning, January 28 at 11 o'clock in St. Joseph's Church, Allumette Island. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. In memory of Beau, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family.
