SCHECTER, Lena (nee Petigorsky) Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at the age of 86. Beloved mother of Estelle (Sol Gunner) and Melvyn (Arlene Kussin), Toronto. Grandmother of Neil, Mara (Elio), Michael, Marni (Richard) and I.J. (Stephanie). Great grandmother of Gabriel, Julian and Oliver. Sister of Minna, Samuel and Cecelia (the late Nathan), Detroit. Predeceased by sister Ann and brothers Leon and Joseph (the late Miriam). Funeral Service in the Chapel at the New Jewish Cemetery, Osgoode on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at 3:30 p.m. Shiva at 108 Ashgrove Crescent.
