DICKSON, Catharine (Kitty) McLean Miss Dickson died peacefully on January 25, 2005 at the West End Villa. Beloved daughter of the late Captain Alexander and Jennie Dickson. Catharine spent her entire career as a secretary at Mortimer Limited until she retired in 1974. She was a long time member of St. Paul's United Church. She was the dear aunt to 3 nieces and 1 nephew; Dr. Betty Carter of Vancouver, BC, Margaret MacDonald, Charmaine Peach and Boyd McKenzie, all of Dartmouth, NS, as well as several great-nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her lifelong friends from her printing career; Bill Campbell and Earl Casey who were at her side during her last days. Catharine was predeceased by 3 sisters Vera, Marjorie and Anne and 3 brothers Harold, Charles and Robert. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa, on Sunday January 30 from 2 to 4 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday January 31 at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Alan Edwards officiating. Interment to follow in Pinecrest Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute. Published in the Ottawa Citizen from 1/28/2005 - 1/29/2005
