DUCHEMIN, M. Carmelita (Kinley) Peacefully in her sleep, at the Colonel By Retirement Residence, on January 28, 2005, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of Lloyd Duchemin, professor emeritus of Mount Allison University, Sackville N.B, where they lived from 1947 to 2003. She is sadly missed by her children, Parker Duchemin (Carol), Jane DeVille, and John Duchemin (Erna); grand-children Naomi and Gaetan DeVille, Peter Duchemin, Alexandra Duchemin, Toby Nangle (Krista), Hillary Nangle; and great grandchildren Kennedy, Carly, and Seamus Nangle; all of Ottawa. Predeceased by sisters Lois and Eileen and brother Leland Kinley; sadly missed by her surviving sister Dorothy Eaton and her brother Lloyd Kinley. She will also be deeply missed in Ottawa by William Andrew Habington, her nephew John Leefe, her niece Ellen Kinley, and by many other nieces and nephews across Canada. A memorial service will be held in the Central Chapel of Hulse Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod St., Ottawa, on Wednesday, February 2, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow the service. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her memory to Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation, 8 Main St., Sackville NB E4L 4A3; or to a charity of your choice.
