SHAW, A. Hubert Peacefully in his sleep, Sunday, January 30, 2005. Arthur (Hubert) Shaw, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Betty Shaw (nee Gifford) of R. R. 1 Prescott. Loving father of Clair Shaw (Marilyn) of Cardinal and Sheila Barkley of Gloucester. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Carolyn and Michael Shaw of Brockville. Step granddad of Marc Herbison (Brenda) of Prescott and Brent Herbison (Linda) of Kingston. Also survived by three great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife Gladys Elliott, his daughter Shirley, an infant son, his stepdaughter Janet Herbison LaRose and his sister Isobel. At Hubert's request, there will be no public service held. Cremation will take place at the Roselawn Tribute Centre and Crematorium, Maitland with interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery, Chesterville in the spring. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of the Third Floor West at the Brockville General Hospital for their care and support.
