ADAMSON, WILLIAM FORREST - The death of William Forrest Adamson of Red Head, NB, husband of the late Margaret (Galloway) Adamson, occurred on Friday, January 21, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, a son of the late George and Margaret (McNab) Adamson. He had served during WWII with the Seaforth Highlanders in France and Holland, was a member of the Jervis Bay Legion, was an active golfer and enjoyed fishing, gardening and leather craft. Survived by one son, William (Maureen) Adamson of Saint John, NB; one daughter, Jane Adamson of Ville La Salle, PQ; one sister, Betty Gibb of Australia; two grandchildren, Jacqueline and Jennifer Aubut; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Margaret in July 2004; a brother, George; and a sister, Margaret. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Monday, January 24, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at 1 pm. with cremation to follow and interment at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery, Field of Honour.
