Mrs. Marie Khodowa Valladares (née Khodowa) March 11, 1924 - January 20, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home (Burlington Chapel) VALLADARES, Marie (nee Khodowa) – Peacefully on Thursday January 20, 2005 we said good-bye to a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, friend, and a special lady. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Cecil Valladares. Cherished by her children Robert Randeo, Evelyn Carr, Doreen (Jean) DeBellefeuille, Anthony (Ushal) Pereira, Eleanor Pereira, Jerome Pereira and Greg (Mary) Pereira. She was a delighted grandmother to Anna, Andrew, Nicole, Rabandera, Lisa, Neville, Michael, David and many more. Treasured great-grandmother to Alana, Alyssa, Ashley, Ryan, Karam, Jason, Christine and many more. Special great-great grandmother to many more. Dear sister to Lynette (Joda) Persaud, Eggbert (Gladys) Khodowa, Stanley Khodowa and his wife. Predeceased by her children Roy Randeo, Royston Robertson and Lolita Pereira, two brothers and one sister. Her children will always remember her strength, unyielding support and limitless patience. Marie could be counted on for a smile when you entered the room, and a tear on her cheek when you left. She often spoke lovingly of her children and her husband, while happily taking us down memory lane to places and activities that she enjoyed while growing up. Friends may call at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home, BURLINGTON CHAPEL 2241 New St. (At Drury Lane) Burlington, (905-637-5233) on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday January 24, 2005 at 1:00pm. Interment to follow in Burlington Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Diabetes Association and the Heart and Stoke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
