He is survived by his loving and loved wife, Cristina (Presutti); dear sons, Remo and Giuseppe; cherished grandchildren, Michael (Trina), Cristina Angela, Ryan and Giuliano; darling great-grandson, Logan. He is also survived by brothers, Mario (Imperia), Toronto; Pelino (Giuseppina), Halifax. Born and raised in Pratola Peligna, Italy, Panfilo proudly brought his family to Canad in 1967 to raise them in this wonderful country with his Italian tradition at heart. He was a proud and strong man and will remain so in memory by his many friends and family. Always able to bring a smile to anyone's face, he will truly be missed. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. Funeral service 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Catherine's of Siena Church, Bayers Road. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville, Archbishop Hayes officiating.
