Eleanor E. SWEEZEY

Mrs. Eleanor E. Williston 1913-2005 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mrs. Eleanor Elizabeth Williston, widow of the late Austin B. Williston, of the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home and formerly of 71 King Street, Miramichi, passed away at her residence, on Sunday, January 23, 2005, at the age of 91. Born in Napan Bay, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Janet (Watling) Sweezey. She was a homemaker; a former custodian at the Napan Elementary School; a retired employee of the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home. She was a member of St. Marys Anglican Church, Miramichi; a member of the A.C.W. and a former member of the church choir. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Margaret E. Murphy (Robert W.), of Miramichi; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Bessie Sweezey, of Miramichi (Loggieville); as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Austin, in 1981; three brothers, John, George and Archie Sweezey. Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Tuesday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Wednesday, January 26, 2005, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Alan Reynolds. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery, later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
