LITTLE, WILLIAM "JAMES" PATRICK - Passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by his family on Sunday January 23rd, 2005 at the age of 77. Born on March 15th, 1927 in Saint John. He was the son of the late Harold and Marie Little. James is survived by his loving wife Mable (Hutchinson) of 54 years. Five daughters: Pat (Doug) Marston of Edmonton Alb., Linda (Peter) McCarthy of Rothesay, Wendy (John) Poirier of Saint John, Dawn (David) Colpitts of Airdrie Alb., and Leanne (Bill) Straight of Saint John, two sons: Terry (Marg) of Surrey BC. and Tim (Norma) of Saint John, two brothers: Harold (Dot) of Maccan NS. and Jack of Saint John, four sisters: Eleanor Horgan, Colleen (Tom) Mantle, Christine Black, and Betty Bowes all of Saint John, sixteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends. James was a life member of the Saint John City and Dist. Dart League, Honorary member of W.O. and Sgts. Mess, member of the Gentleman's Dart League, CN Pensioners Association, CN Pensioners Bowling League, St. Peters Church, Former President of the St. John the Baptist Credit Union, and President and Chief Auctioneer Hutchinson Family Reunion Assoc. James retired from CN Railway Express after 41 years of service. Last but not least he was always everybody's designated driver, until illness interfered. A grandson, Christopher Poirier, two brothers, Francis and Joseph, and a sister, Marjorie, predeceased James. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John NB (646-2424) on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. with the mass of Christian burial being held at St. Peter's Church on Friday January 28th, 2005 at 10 am. Interment will be held in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery following the service.
