Grace Edith Makey (née Hawley) May 23, 1905 - January 22, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Avalon & Surrey Funeral Home Makey, Grace (nee Hawley) passed away peacefully in her 100th year on January 22, 2005 in Burnaby BC. Grace was born in the township of Raleigh, Ontario. Loved and survived by her daughters Grace Hake of Burnaby and Betty Dyer of Penticton; grandchildren Mike Hake of Surrey, Bob (Carole) Hake of Burnaby, Robert (Cyndi) Dyer of Langley, Sandy (Susie) Dyer of Surrey and Candy Norris of Anchorage Alaska; great-grandchildren Danielle, Kristina, Cache and Brandy Hake, Desiree, Clayton, Maxwell and Mitchell Dyer and Allie Norris; and great-great-granddaughter Kayla Hake. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Dogwood Lodge and later at Normanna Lodge. Their kindness, gentleness and loving care of our mother are very much appreciated by the family. Private graveside service will be held Thursday, January 27, 2005 at 1:30 pm at Valley View Memorial Gardens
