BURKE, WILLIAM ALEXANDER The death of William Alexander Burke of Boiestown, NB, husband of the late Marie (Coogan) Burke occurred on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Ludlow, NB, he was a son of the late Joseph and Carrie (Pond) Burke. Mr. Burke was a mechanic. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion #78, Boiestown and enjoyed fishing and his camp. Mr. Burke is survived by two daughters, Kelly Munn (David) of Bloomfield and Nicole Munn (Blair) of Boiestown; three sons, Billie Burke (Lana) of Ludlow, William Lyons of Carroll's Crossing and Chris Burke of Georgetown, ON; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson; three sisters, Isabel Jordan (Millard) of Keswick, Helen Calhoun of Parker's Ridge and Betty Morehouse of Doaktown; three brothers, Walter Burke (Lorna) of Ludlow, Earl Burke (Ruth) of Fredericton and Thomas Burke (Janet) of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Allan. Visitation will take place at the Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, NB on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 28, 2005 at 2 pm from the Miramichi Valley Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Trzop officiating. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #78, Boiestown will hold a tribute service Thursday January 27, 2005 at 7 pm. Interment will be in the St. Joachim's Cemetery, Boiestown at a later date.
