Richard Leverette TAYLOR

TAYLOR, RICHARD LEVERETTE - Peacefully, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB on January 26, 2005, Mr. Richard Leverette Taylor, 67, husband of Priscilla Anne (Miller) Taylor, of Blacks Harbour, NB. Born in Moncton, NB on April 17, 1937, he was a son of the late Leverette and Beatrice Irene (Roberts) Taylor. A loving husband, father and grandfather, Richard is survived, besides his wife, by two daughters, Melinda (Bruce) Bellefleur of St. Catherines, ON, Shirley Taylor of Blacks Harbour; a son, Roderick (Alice) Miller of Minto, NB; five grandchildren, Courtney, Ashley, Sarah, Alex and Drew; two sisters, Elaine (Roy) Battersby of Toronto, ON and Judy of Dawson Creek, BC; two brothers, Doug (Jane) Taylor, and Dean (Joanne) Taylor, both of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. Richard had worked for several employers over the years, as a tool crib attendant, labourer and as a barber. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB, with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, January 29, at Christ Church (Anglican) Pennfield, with Rev. Keith Osborne officiating. Interment at a later date.
