HERBERT, ALMA LEAH At her residence on January 28, 2005 Alma Leah (Smith) Herbert of Jacksonville, NB passed away at the age of 81. Born in Florenceville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Elizabeth (Glenn) Smith. Alma is survived by daughters: Lois Frederikse, Geulph, Ontario; Dianne Herbert, Harvey Station, NB, Barbara Dingee (Brian), Centerville, NB; Margaret Guillery (Michael), Calgary, Alberta, Nancy McConnell (Andy), Centreville, NB and Ruth Herbert, Calgary, Alberta, sisters Jean Campbell, Perth Andover, Alberta Brymer, Summerfield, NB, Barbara Miller, Edson, Alberta, Dorothy Andrews, Brimfield Mass, Roselphia Crouse, Tracey Mills, NB, a brother John Smith, Moncton, NB; eleven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Alma was predeceased by her husband Lewis, brother Ralph (Kaye) Smith. Visitation for Alma Herbert will be at the Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville, NB on Saturday, 3-5 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held on Sunday at St. James United Church, Woodstock, NB at 2:30 PM. Burial will be at Florenceville United Cemetery in the spring. As as expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or St. James United Church.
